Position Overview
Tenured State Farm Insurance Agent located in Harford County, Maryland is seeking an outgoing, career-oriented professional to join their team. As a State Farm team member for Agent David O'Dea, you will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm Insurance related products and services including auto, home, business and life insurance including financial services.
Responsibilities
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers and potential customers as needed.
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
- Assist customers and prospects with their immediate needs including new sales and policy changes needed.
- Assist customers with claims related questions & concerns.
- Build and grow the Agency by providing outstanding interactions with customers and prospects, earning their trust and business while expanding our referral network.
- Maintain a strong work ethic with a commitment to success and achievement each and every day.

Requirements
- Insurance customer service and sales related experience preferred, or related job engaging with customers and general public (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, telemarketing, CSR)
- Empathy without question. This is paramount in this line of work.
- Reliability, dependability, and accountability
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Self-motivated
- Dedicated to solid customer service
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to conduct interviews in the office
- Moderate knowledge of financial services products
- Property and Casualty insurance license preferred (having currently or immediately working towards)
- Life and Health license preferred (must be able to obtain)
- Selected candidate is expected to remain current in product changes, licensing, technical developments, and continuing education
- Associate's degree or higher. College grad ideal.

Compensation $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
