David O'Dea

I attended Penn State University and obtained a Bachelors in Finance degree in 1985. Subsequently I moved to Annapolis, Maryland and first worked in banking.  Insurance intrigued me and I started in the industry and was licensed in all lines in 1988.  In 2007 we moved to Bel Air, Maryland for an opportunity with State Farm and I opened my current State Farm Agency.

I am a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow LUTCF, a Member Nat'l Assoc of Insurance & Financial Advs, and a Leadership Anne Arundel Council Graduate. I also hold a Masters Degree in Management from the American College.  I am married with two wonderful children, and a parishioner of St. Ignatius Church with my family.  I belong to Bel Air Athletic Club, the Bel Air Downtown Alliance, and the Harford County Chamber of Commerce.  I am a several time recipient of the National Quality Award from NAIFA for Life Insurance.  My Agency is one of the sponsors of an annual golf tournament to raise funds for to support the Emergency One Shelter in Belcamp for Harford's homeless.   Personally I enjoy the great outdoors, sailing, skiing, walking, exploring, cars and various forms of transportation, and of course and most important....people.     

My Team and I focus on current and new residents to the community.  Our customers appreciate the thorough review we conduct to provide proper and sufficient auto insurance and homeowners insurance while saving them premium dollars.  Umbrella insurance, renters insurance, boat insurance, motorcycle insurance, and condominium insurance are some of our many additional offerings.  We offer and write insurance anywhere in Maryland; yet support to a larger extent Abingdon, Bel Air, Forest Hill, Fallston, Jarrettsville, Street, Pylesville, Darlington, Belcamp, Joppa, Edgewood, Havre de Grace, and the Aberdeen communities for their insurance needs.   Life insurance and business insurance are other facets we are very experienced to review and offer professional guidance.  I also work with many homeowners association communities HOA for their insurance exposures.
